We are delighted to share the first look at filmmaker Alex Garland‘s next film, “Civil War” for A24. No one really knows what this particular project is about, and we kind of like it better that way, honestly.

Things we do know: Kirsten Dunst and Wagner Moura star, as well as Cailee Spaeny, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Sonoya Mizuno, and Karl Glusman, who have previously worked with Garland.

Yes, any new Alex Garland project is exciting, we’re still REALLY hoping for another “Dredd” someday. Not to mention, the highly anticipated “28 Years Later.”

A trailer for “Civil War” is expected sometime next week. As we reported yesterday, A24 and Warner Bros. Discovery have come to an agreement where ALL of the company’s releases will bow on MAX, after their theatrical runs. This includes older fare as well as newer projects, which would eventually mean this one, too.

We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news. Check out the first poster for “Civil War” now.
