    This just in-

MAX has just released the first teaser for their upcoming “IT” prequel series, “Welcome to Derry.” The snippet of video is actually from MAX’s tease of projects coming soon.

“Welcome to Derry” was developed by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Jason Fuchs. It serves as a prequel to Muschietti’s films in the series, “It” and “It Chapter Two.” It stars Madeleine Stowe, Stephen Rider Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, and James Remar.

The series was originally slated for a Halloween 2024 release, but as of last month, it sounds more like a push into 2025. “We had had [Welcome To Derry] scheduled for Halloween ’24 but it will likely pushing into ’25,” HBO / MAX Chairman and CEO Casey Bloys said.

As you can see, “Welcome to Derry” *is* included in the coming in 2025 section of the video.

The best is yet to come.
