This just in-
sounds like that much anticipated Spider-Noir live-action series is still happening! Variety is reporting Steve Lightfoot has been named as showrunner. Lightfoot previously helmed the Netflix “Marvel’s The Punisher” series starring Jon Bernthal.
“Spider-Noir” will reportedly follow the older, grizzled superhero in New York City in the 1930s. Sources indicate the main character will NOT be Peter Parker, but the jury is still out on that. It’s currently being developed by Amazon.
The character was voiced by Nicolas Cage in the hit animated “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” film. We’re not sure who would play the character in the show, but Cage DID SAY he wants to get into television and outta film.
