Filmmaker Tim Burton has declared one of the more anticipated sequels of the the era has officially wrapped filming. We’re speaking of course about “Beetlejuice 2,” which will continue the story of the Ghost with the Most (Michael Keaton) and Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder).
The original cast of the 1988 film have returned, and will be joined by new faces like Jenna Ortega, Wilem Dafoe, and others.
On his personal Instagram, Burton very simply shared the news. “Just finished shooting Beetlejuice,” the post reads. “Thank you to everyone involved.”
The film currently has a set release date of September 6th, 2024. We’ll let you know what else we hear about this and other news.
