We are very sorry to report the passing of tv actress and fitness icon, Suzanne Somers. Somers, probably best known for her role as Chrissy on sitcom “Three’s Company,” was an advocate for fitness during the 80s and 90s. She released countless at-home fitness videos, and leant her name to products to help average folk keep healthy. She was also an author.

In recent years, it was revealed Somers had been battling breast cancer. Longtime publicist R. Couri Hay confirmed the news of Somers’ passing.

“She survived an aggressive form of breast cancer for over 23 years. Suzanne was surrounded by her loving husband Alan, her son Bruce, and her immediate family,” the statement read.

Somers would have turned 77 on October 16th. “Her family was gathered to celebrate her 77th birthday on Oct. 16th. Instead, they will celebrate her extraordinary life, and want to thank her millions of fans and followers who loved her dearly.”
