    We’re still not sure why Warner Bros. Pictures decided the classic tale of Willy Wonka needed a reboot. Not only a reboot, but a musical version starring goldenboy Timothée Chalamet, and Hugh Grant as a *checks notes* Oompa Loompa?!

    “Wonka” is described as “an intoxicating mix of magic and music, mayhem and emotion, all told with fabulous heart and humor.” Yeah. It’s just as ridiculous as it sounds.

    A second trailer for the Paul King-directed film hit this morning, and we’re even MORE baffled about who exactly this film is meant to be for. Yes, we know King’s “Paddington” films found their audience in a real big way. But….from Gene Wilder to…this?!

    “Wonka” comes to theaters December 15th, 2023. Check out trailer 2 now:
