    “OUTRAGEIOUS.”

Consider us suitably excited for any news about a possible Lando Calrissian project, especially since this one is from Donald Glover and his writer brother, Stephen Glover. Long rumored to still be clinging to life despite the box office shortcomings of “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” a Lando solo project is finally taking some big strides forward. Lucasfilm President Kathy Kennedy has spoken at length about how much she wanted to see more of Glover in the role, and more of the character in his own right. Glover, too, has been vocal about wanting to bring the ol’ smoothy back to the screen.

Donald Glover appears on “Saturday Night Live” as Lando Calrissian NBCUniversal / Peacock

Last we heard, the Glover bros project was going to be a series for Disney+. But the news this morning is that it’s going to be a movie!

Writer Stephen Glover recently appeared on the “Pablo Torre Finds Out” podcast, and spoke briefly about the change to the project. “It’s not even a show,” Stephen said. “The idea right now is to do a movie. But right now, because of the strikes, it’s kinda like…telephone…all the information.”

So, while it’s not much, we at least know SOMETHING about the project. We’ll let you know what else we hear about this and other projects.
