Did…did you people learn NOTHING?! Billy McFarland, convicted felon, is out to do Fyre Fest all over again with the launch (and sell out?!) of a second installment. 2.0 was ‘announced’ last October, right after Billy finished serving time for wire fraud, directly connected to the disaster of an event in 20217.
Yes, really. Fyre Fest 2’s pre-sale is ‘officially’ sold out. “The First 100” tier of tickets went on sale August 19th, for the price of $499. “They sold out very very quickly,” McFarland told TMZ.
Where will it be? No one knows. What about dates? Sometime in 2024, but that’s about it. Okay, how about an initial lineup? Sorry, fresh out of that, too.
Also- everyone’s favorite personality from the dueling Fyre Fest documentaries Andy King apparently didn’t learn his lesson the first time. He’s apparently working with McFarland on version 2.0. “I look forward to working with Billy and our partners to share FYRE with the world,” King said. “I’m so grateful to have support to help us execute the ultimate redemption.”
