We are DELIGHTED to share the news that Legendary Pictures’ “The Toxic Avenger” remake finally has a release date. Well, kinda! The reimagining of the Troma Films cult classic will premiere on the opening night of Fantastic Fest 2023.

Aside from news of a premiere, we got an official poster!

Jacob Tremblay, Taylour Paige, Elijah Wood, and Kevin Bacon also star. Macon Blair directs from a script he wrote.

Hopefully this means a trailer, too. Fantastic Fest, an Austin, TX event, kicks off September 21st, and runs til the 28th. We’ll let you know what we hear about an official wide release date for “The Toxic Avenger.”
