it would appear Funko has fired the majority of the Mondo staff. This comes after the Pop Vinyl empire began to crumble earlier this year. Reportedly, Funko literally dumped upwards of $30 million with of product due to lacking sales.

According to The Wrap, the toys and soundtracks division is still kicking (for now), but the rest of the Austin-based Mondo staff has been let go.
Gizmodo reports additional casualties of the mass layoffs included Mondo co-founders Mitch Putnam and Rob Jones, as well as Eric Garza (senior creative director).
This is heartbreaking.
