While the world still mourns the death of English monarch Queen Elizabeth II, Netflix’s hit drama series “The Crown” is moving forward. Reportedly, season 5 of the royal chronicles has had a delay of sorts, in deference to the UK’s figurehead passing earlier this month.
On “TODAY,” the first official look at season 5 of “The Crown” was revealed.
As we know, the cast has once again changed, aging up important characters like Princess Diana, Prince Charles, Prince Phillip, Princess Margaret, and Her Majesty. Elizabeth Debicki takes over as Diana, Dominic West as Charles, Lesley Manville as Margaret, Jonathan Pryce as Phillip, and Imelda Staunton as the Queen.
The teaser starts at 23 seconds in.
Season 5 of “The Crown” hits Netflix November 9th, 2023.
