    Peacock Developing Live-Action “Casper the Friendly Ghost” Series

    sounds like Peacock, the streaming service of NBC Universal, is developing a live-action series about “Casper the Friendly Ghost.” Or, as we call him around Nerdbot- Casper the Friend Zone Ghost. If you’ve seen the Christina Ricci, Malachi Pearson/Devon Sawa version from the 90s- you know exactly what we mean.

    Kai Yu Wu is set to write and executive produce “Casper.” Early intel indicates the story will be set in high school. “A new family arrives in the small town of Eternal Falls, Casper finds himself entangled in a mystery uncovering dark secrets that have been buried for over 100 years,” Deadline says.

    That’s kind of everything we know about “Casper” so far. We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.
