After years of waiting, “Star Wars” fans only have two and a half months more to wait before “Obi Wan Kenobi” hits Disney+. Starring Ewan McGregor as the Jedi Master, the series hails from Deborah Chow, who directs all episodes. Perhaps the most exciting part, the return of Hayden Christensen as Annakin Skywalker! And, as we know now, Joel Egerton as Uncle Ownen.

These images were released by Entertainment Weekly this morning, who’s April issue will be dedicated to the series.

The show’s official Twitter came to life this morning also, with a pretty appropriate first message.

    Hello there.

Fan speculation is at an all-time high that a trailer is coming this week.

“Obi Wan Kenobi” will premiere on Disney+ on May 25th, 2022. It’s the anniversary of the first film releasing in theaters in 1977. And also the kickoff day for Star Wars Celebration 2022.
