    Watch: Patti LuPone Interview the Late, Great Stephen Sondheim

    The world of musical theater was dealt a heavy blow this past week with the passing of Stephen Sondheim. Prolific composer and lyricist Sondheim was a much beloved giant in the bright lights of Broadway, known for his beautiful work on “West Side Story,” and “Into The Woods,” as well as “Sweeney Todd” and “A Little Night Music.”

    CBS’s Sunday Morning released a recent interview legendary theater icon Patti LuPone conducted with her friend Steve. The chat was recorded back in 2020. LuPone shares her thoughts about how impactful Sondheim’s work was, and remembers him fondly.
