    ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ Gets Season 2 Order From FX!

    We are so thrilled to report that FX has opted to order a second season of undead Vampire comedy What We Do In The Shadows!

    Presidents of Original Programming for FX Nick Grad and Eric Schrier said of the season 2 pickup:

    “Jemaine Clement, Taika Waititi and Paul Simms have more than delivered on the high expectations of Shadows fans by adapting the cult classic for television and building a passionate base of new and returning fans. We also want to thank the rest of the creative team, including Scott Rudin, Garrett Basch and Eli Bush, and the incredible cast and crew for delivering such a fun and original series, and we look forward to working with them all on season two.”

    Maybe they have Mark Hamill to thank?

    But seriously, we absolutely adore What We Do In The Shadows, and are so so delighted we’ll be getting more.

    Jemaine Clement, Taikia Waititi and Paul Simms are executive produce along with Scott Rudin, Garrett Basch and Eli Bush.

    Starring Matt Berry, Kayvan Novak, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillén and Mark Proksch, WWDITS airs on FX on Wednesdays with season 1’s finale set to air on May 29th.
