Jared Leto’s Most Recent ‘Morbius’ Update is a Video This Time

Oscar winner Jared Leto has been doing a pretty bang-up job of sharing teases and goodies from the set of his upcoming Sony comic book film, Morbius. The film will center around Spider-Man villain Michael Morbius, aka The Living Vampire, and thats kind of all we know at this point.

In yesterday’s Instagram post, Leto shared a video clip of himself (theoretically as the title character, standing on a crowded street as people pass him. Not sure if song lyrics or script lines, “Because no one else will walk this path…this place of shadows, where we do what must be done, no matter the cost.”

Leto had previously shared the first look at the apparent logo for the film:

Biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead.

Daniel Espinosa is directing from a script by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. Jared Leto stars as the title character, and is joined by Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, and Jared Harris.

Sony currently has Morbius with a July 31st, 2020 release date.
