The Paramount Pictures presentation is happening right now during CinemaCon in Las Vegas, and a brand new trailer for their upcoming live-action film Dora And The Lost City Of Gold, based on Nickelodeon’s popular Dora the Explorer cartoon was just released.

Paramount Releases New 'Dora And The Lost City of Gold' Trailer at CinemaCon

“Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora (Isabela Moner) for her most dangerous adventure ever – High School. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey, voiced by Danny Trejo), Diego (Jeffrey Wahlberg), a mysterious jungle inhabitant (Eugenio Derbez), and a rag tag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents (Eva Longoria, Michael Peña) and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost city of gold.”

We also know that Adriana Barraza, Temuera Morrison, Nicholas Coombe, and Madeleine Madden are on board for the film, as well as Benicio del Toro as the villainous Swiper.

James Bobin is directing for Paramount Players, and the film is expected to hit theaters on August 2nd, 2019.
