We’re kinda hoping everyone’s answer to our headline question is a huge “UM YES!” Just imagine for a second all the young folks who grew up loving “Hocus Pocus” getting the chance as an adult to be part of the sequel?! Yeah, that’s the level of excitement we have over here at Nerdbot.

As announced by Kendall Cooper Casting, you may have a chance to appear in “Hocus Pocus 2” as an extra! The casting call says the production is looking for some specifics, so make sure you fit the bill before heading to Providence, RI.

“Production is seeking people local to the Providence, RI area to play various extra roles in the film; children and adults of ALL ethnicities, ages, genders, and sizes are encouraged to apply. Specifically seeking people with dance experience, men with shoulder length hair or longer, and young adults ages 18-22 years old.“

Things we know about the upcoming sequel:

Adam Shankman was originally going to be directing the film, but Anne Fletcher was officially announced as taking over the broom. Shankman is currently hard at work on another Disney sequel- “Disenchanted.”

Bette Middler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are all ready to run amok again as Winnifred, Sarah, and Mary Sanderson.

Filming will be in Providence, RI and surrounding areas October through December 2021.

“Hocus Pocus 2” will hit Disney+ in the fall of 2022.
