With the utmost disappointment that Batman V Superman was, the minds at Warner Brothers are hard at work doing damage control to build their Justice League franchise.  We already know a few of the big contenders; Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, Gal Gadot in her own Wonder Woman film, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg,  and Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck returning as their caped hero roles.

Today, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Willem Dafoe will be joining the DC Comics universe in the upcoming Justice League film.  No word yet on WHO he’ll be playing, but we have it on good authority (Dafoe’s own words) that he’ll be a ‘good guy’.  We already know another Marvel/Sony Spider-Man face has signed on, as JK Simmons will be taking on the role of Commissioner Gordon in future installments featuring the city of Gotham.

The Justice League screenplay is being written by Chris Terrio, and is set to be released in two parts by Warner Brothers.  Justice League: Part One will hit theaters on November 17th, 2017 and Part Two for June 14th 2019.

So what do you guys think?  Who would the former Green Goblin fit in on the good guy side as?  Let us know in the comments!
