    Craig Mazin to Showrun “Baldur’s Gate” TV Series for HBO

    Craig Mazin (“The Last of Us,” “Mythic Quest“) is developing a new tv series for HBO. Leaning into yet another highly popular video game series, this new show will reportedly be based on “Baldur’s Gate,” which takes place in the world of “Dungeons & Dragons.”

    Mazin is currently attached to create, write, executive produce, and showrun the series.

    Jacqueline Lesko, Cecil O’Connor, and Hasbro Entertainment’s Gabriel Marano will executive produce.

    Wizard’s of the Coast head of Story Chris Perkins will serve as consultant.
