    Does the world *really* need yet another “Resident Evil“ game? In a word, yes. This morning, CAPCOM released a ‘short film’ live-action trailer for their upcoming 9th installment in the franchise.

    Maika Monroe (“It Follows,” “Longlegs“) stars as a doting mother caught in the midst of the Raccoon City outbreak.

    “Resident Evil: Requiem” launches for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, Epic Games Store, and NVIDIA GeForce on February 27th, 2026. Check out the trailer now:
