UK entertainment mag EMPIRE is teasing their upcoming issue, which will dive into the landmark 25th anniversary of Sir Peter Jackson‘s incredible “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.” Hard to believe it’s been a quarter of a century since the world fell in love with Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, and Billy Boyd.

EMPIRE teases interviews with the 4 Hobbits, as well as Sir Ian McKellen, Peter Jackson, Phillipa Boyens, Viggo Mortensen, Sean Bean, Orlando Bloom, John Rhys-Davies, Cate Blanchett, and Liv Tyler.

They ALSO say they’ll have some news about “The Hunt for Gollum” from Andy Serkis!

Even Gandalf was hyped for the reveal.

“2026 marks a monumental milestone: the 25th anniversary of ‘The Fellowship of the Ring‘ – the epic beginning of Peter Jackson’s legendary Lord of the Rings trilogy,” McKellen tweeted. “This is more than an anniversary; it’s a chance to unite fans everywhere for ‘One reunion to rule them all.’ Get ready for Empire’s world-exclusive reunion issue, packed with brand-new interviews, stunning cast photos, and so much more – available Thursday, 15 January. Don’t miss this historic celebration!”

So, check out the two special covers, and we’ll let you know what else we hear about this and other news.
