American treasure Dolly Parton has shared an update about her health amid ongoing speculation about how she’s actually doing. Parton’s husband, Carl Dean, passed away in March of this year, and there has been ongoing concern about Dolly’s wellbeing. Parton’s sister, Freida Parton, increased worries earlier this week with a fairly cryptic post asking for prayers for Dolly. (She’s since apologized.)
But Dolly herself posted a video to Instagram explaining there’s “no need for fans to worry.” She admits after her husband’s death, she wasn’t taking as good of care of her health as she should have been, and is going to have some non-major procedures done soon.
Here’s hoping for a full and speedy recovery, Dolly!
